Our Mission & Vision

Mission Statement:

At Mindful Opulence, our mission is to foster a culture of self-love and opulence among women, with a special focus on women of color. We are dedicated to providing tools and resources that encourage self-discovery, mental wellness, and personal growth. Through our blend of digital and physical products, including journals and planners, we aim to inspire women on their journey towards a balanced and fulfilling life.

Vision statement:

We envision a world where women of color can nurture their mental well-being and invite opulence into their daily routines by utilizing our innovative digital and physical products. By championing a culture centered on self-love, mindfulness, and opulence, our aim is to play a pivotal role in uplifting women of color for generations to come.

About Us

Kennedy Peterson and Teah Ramsey first met on the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) campus. They later became sorority sisters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated where their bond grew even more. After graduating from UCSC, they decided to start a business together- a business that encompassed their love for opulence and passion for personal development. Thus, in the Fall of 2021, Mindful Opulence was born.

Our mission to promote mental health and wellness is especially personal for Kennedy as one of the many black women who suffer from General Anxiety Disorder in the United States. Her feelings of anxiety began around the age of 14 and only exacerbated as she grew older. Throughout her lifetime journey to maintain a healthy mind and self-image, it is her goal to help as many people as she can along the way.
